The Manufacturing Training Centre (MTC) provides training on a variety of traditional manufacturing equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, hand tools, as well as welding and fabrication. Students and staff can register for free workshops given throughout the year.

The workshops offered by the Manufacturing Training Center will also allow members access to the Brunsfield Center where they can use the equipment that they've been trained on to manufacture and fabricate anything from personal projects to school related projects. All workshops are available to any student and university faculty member interested. Once members have completed the basic level of training offered by the training center they are highly encouraged to continue developing their skills by working on projects and learning lessons found in our development program. We are always looking for new ways to provide the best resources and equipment to design, fabricate, and test complex prototypes. If you think that a training that is not being offered would be beneficial to our users, you can request it by sending us an email.
