The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Design (CEED) provides opportunities for students at the uOttawa Faculty of Engineering to gain or strengthen their entrepreneurship and design skills by organizing events and entrepreneurial competitions, managing design spaces and facilities, offering professional development training and project-based courses, and fostering partnerships with the industry.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Design (CEED) provides opportunities for students at the uOttawa Faculty of Engineering to gain or strengthen their entrepreneurship and design skills. CEED also collaborates with its industry partners to create a real impact in our student’s lives and in the community.
CEED offers opportunities for students to develop their entrepreneurial and engineering design skills while studying at the Faculty of Engineering at uOttawa.
We offer unique opportunities for industry to get involved, enhance their professional skills, and connect with our talent.
CEED is run and managed by students and recent alumni of the Faculty of Engineering at uOttawa, and is chaired by Dr. Hanan Anis, Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Ottawa. She holds an NSERC chair in Entrepreneurial Engineering Design and is also the Coordinator of entrepreneurship and innovation at the Faculty of Engineering.
